The K-Go Driver Certification Process
K-Go places an emphasis on safety above all else. To ensure the security of our Riders and their K-Go Drivers, we have implemented measures that are straightforward yet effective, starting from how we certify our K-Go Drivers. In order to drive for K-Go, Drivers must meet Canadian regulatory requirements and our K-Go Community certification requirements:
1. Criminal Background and Vulnerable Sector Checks
To be a Driver for K-Go, these initial checks by a Canadian 3rd party agency must be passed.
2. Valid Drivers License in the Province They Will Drive
3. Be At Least 20 Years of Age
4. Have At Least 5 Years of Driving Experience in Canada
5. Have a Good Driving Record
To be a Driver for K-Go, this check will be completed by a Canadian 3rd party agency.
6. Drive a Vehicle That is 4-Doors, and Less Than 10 Years Old
7. Provide Proof of Eligibility to Work in Canada
8. Provide Proof of Vehicle Registration
9. Provide Proof of Package Policy Insurance in the Province They Will Drive
10. Vehicle Must Pass a 180-Point Inspection
11. Complete a Live Interview with the K-Go Team
12. Complete a Driver Training with the K-Go Team
We maintain a strict Code of Conduct for our K-Go Driver Community which ensures a safe in-ride experience for our Riders. We value safety, transparency and kindness. Our Zero-Tolerance Policy prohibits the use, possession, or being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, illegal use of a mobile phone (talking or texting) while driving for K-Go and any inappropriate physical contact between a K-Go Driver and a Rider.
