We maintain a strict Code of Conduct for our K-Go Driver Community which ensures a safe in-ride experience for our Riders. We value safety, transparency and kindness.
- Always be on time.
- Check your navigation before you leave a pickup location.
- Check pick-up notes and drop off notes before you pick-up a Rider.
- Obey all traffic laws.
- Seat belt use is mandatory.
- Always keep your eyes on the road.
- Never talk or text on a mobile phone during a ride.
- No personal stops during a ride.
- Always go to the scheduled destination; never drop a Rider off anywhere other than the scheduled destination.
- Do not leave a drop off destination until your Rider is safely inside a location or acknowledged by a relevant adult or Guardian for indoor drop offs as documented by ride notes.
- If your rider is a no-show, do not leave the location until verifying with the K-Go Safe Ride Support Team that the Rider is safe.
- Follow ride procedures in the K-Go App so Guardians are notified of their Riders location (pick up and drop offs).
- Be kind, considerate and respectful when interacting with Riders and Guardians. And don’t forget to smile.
Our Zero-Tolerance Policy prohibits:
- The use, possession, or being under the influence of drugs or alcohol while using the K-Go Platform.
- The illegal use of a mobile phone (talking or texting) while driving for K-Go.
- Inappropriate physical contact between a K-Go Driver and a Rider is strictly prohibited, except in the case of an unexpected safety reason wherein emergency assistance is required.
- Filming, audio recording or photographing of Riders before, during or after a ride.
- Discriminating on the basis of gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, cognitive style, age, nationality, disability, mental health, religion, pregnancy status, or any other demographic trait or identity factor. We understand that many barriers faced by under-represented communities occur as a result of unconscious bias (v. conscious discrimination) and commit to leveraging training, standardized reviews and technology to ensure equity and fairness.
- Harassment (sexual, physical, verbal, mental or emotional) including jokes or unwelcome comments, threats or unwanted physical contact with our Users of any kind.
K-Go Drivers reported to have violated one or more of our Zero Tolerance Policies will be immediately suspended. Following an investigation, a K-Go Driver found to have violated one or more of our Zero Tolerance Policies will have their K-Go account deactivated in accordance with the law and Terms of Use. The same is applicable to our Guardians or Riders.
